We're the Lomascola Family. I, Keelyn, grew up showing and training dogs of various breeds. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. Once I started college, the dog shows and training slowed down a bit for me. Fast forward a few years, I met my Husband, Larry, and we had our Son Vinny in 2020. We wanted to get a dog that I could train to be a Diabetic alert dog for myself as I am a type 1 diabetic and we also wanted a dog that wasn't going to shed all over the house; because dog hair in general is annoying but dog hair and a toddler crawling and playing all over the ground is 10x worse...if you know, you know. I did several months of research and stumbled upon the Australian Labradoodle and it seemed the like the perfect dog for our family. I found a breeder close to where we lived back in California and the rest is history. We got our first Labradoodle, Poppy, from Brookside Labradoodles and it was love at first site. Not only was the the CUTEST puppy I had ever seen but her personality was perfection. She plays SO well with our 4 year old and has been the easiest puppy I have ever had; and there have been quite a few over the years that I spent training and showing dogs. My husband and I were stunned with how well she just fit into our family, how easy going she is and easy to live with but also how playful she can be. My husband really wanted to have a dog that would fetch and Poppy will go get that ball every single time its thrown, she loves it. We both have said "we have found our breed." We love her so much that we decided we needed another one, so now we have our two foundation girls and are so excited to see what beautiful babies they will produce and the legacy they will have for our program.
